SECURITY DESIGN AND PLACEMENT
WST has experience in the implementation of security countermeasures, having supported the US Army Corps of Engineers (Seattle, Washington) in the design and placement of security countermeasures for Critical Homeland Security Infrastructure.

ASSET MANAGEMENT SYSTEM HARDWARE & SOFTWARE SURVEY & RECOMMENDATIONS
WST has played a variety of technical support roles on projects, including the identification of information technology asset management industry standards, and the recommendation of operating systems hardware and software that would support the integration of the client’s assets with other functional area software, such as finance and engineering. This was conducted in support of the Wastewater Environmental Research Foundation (WERF) and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

CONTINGENCY PLANNING AND ERP GUIDANCE
White Shield Technologies has the subject matter expertise via it’s safeguards and security technologies to identify industry emerging technologies, most recently completing a subcontracting effort for PA Government Services supporting the Wastewater Environmental Research Foundation (WERF), with project funding provided by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), to identify biological, radiological and hazardous materials emerging emergency notification and asset management technologies for 10,000 small wastewater utilities across the nation.
